We are looking for a hands-on Solution Architect with at least 5 years of experience to join our Platform team. In this role, you won’t just be defining high-level architecture from the sidelines — you’ll actively contribute to implementation, collaborate daily with development teams, and shape the evolution of our internal platform and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be technically involved while driving architectural decisions across multiple teams and domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex distributed systems across the full software development lifecycle
- Define and evolve the technical architecture of our internal platform, APIs, and tooling
- Standardize microservice architecture and API design across teams
- Optimize database performance and scalability (primarily MSSQL)
- Improve observability and monitoring practices using New Relic and other tools
- Implement and enforce security policies in collaboration with the Security & Compliance team
- Work closely with backend teams on solution design, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making
- Contribute to projects by evaluating technical constraints, identifying risks, and proposing practical solutions
- Mentor developers and lead technical discussions and architectural reviews
- Communicate and collaborate with external partners, especially on infrastructure-related topics
Qualifications you bring:
- Proven experience designing and building distributed systems and microservice architectures
- Deep understanding of the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET Framework)
- Experience in system architecture, design patterns, and scaling applications
- Strong experience with relational databases (MSSQL) and ORM tools (Entity Framework / EF Core)
- Familiarity with Azure Service Bus or similar messaging systems
- Solid background in API design and documentation best practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Proficiency in observability and monitoring (e.g., New Relic, logs, metrics, traces)
- Understanding of hybrid infrastructure models (on-premise and cloud)
- Ability to identify architectural pain points, propose and drive key initiatives (e.g., service decoupling, messaging patterns, performance optimization, database strategy)
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
